Wow! I can't believe it has been about a year since I last posted to this blog. Guess I need to update the blog. I have a new favorite author - P. C. Cast. I had read the House of Night series she had written with her daughter Kristen. Now I am reading her Divine series, followed by Elphame. Both are wonderful series, but not really written for the high school student. If you have a chance, read either or both - that is if you like fantasy, combined with a little magic, and a lot of lust.
Of course, you can't go wrong with James Patterson. His Women's Murder Club books are wonderful! I have read and totally enjoyed all ten of them. Anything James Patterson is fine by me!
I won the Laura Bush Foundation grant for the third time this past school year. I have ordered books for boys as the theme. The books came in yesterday. I haven't had time to look at them. I just need to look around for another grant to write. These grants certainly do help to fill in gaps in my collection.
